In a move to make security a “collective responsibility”, all Pavians can now view surveillance information collected by the coast guard after the Crown Prince made a new transparency law.
Until today, all surveillance information about the movement of all visitors and some Pavians within the country’s territory has been restricted to government officials only.
Crown Prince BritishWanderer II said the law was necessary despite the security threat level being “the lowest it has ever been”.
“We must not let this tranquility dull our vigilance”, he said.
Move welcomed by the coast guard
The change was strongly supported by the head of the coast guard, his grace Cissonius the Duke of Braemar.
“We welcome the Crown Prince’s support for the tireless work we do protecting Pavian maritime borders”, he said.
“The new law allows us to have more eyes on Pavian CCTV cameras, freeing up our officers to be out in the field conducting real-time operations.
“The strongest weapon we have in our fight against terror is our intelligence.
“And by having our brave citizen analysts assist, we have a faster response time to any threat we may face.”
